The finish line is in sight
As of Friday the 15th we have 30 days left. It seems like so far away, but I hope that the holidays will speed things up. We had lots of good news at the doctor today. The baby is no longer breech and has turned the right way. The lump I have been playing with for the past few weeks turns out to be baby's butt, not the head, which is great. The doctor showed me how to figure out where the head is and WOW that is a big head already. Baby must take after me since my head is ginormous. In terms of overall size, the baby is measuring a week smaller but the doctor did not seem to be too concerned. Finally, I have been feeling much better after a series of wierd pregnancy related things that happened about a week ago.
Colin finished up school yesterday and is looking forward to weeks upon weeks of college football. He is also doing some work on his dissertation, helping to get ready for the baby, and playing golf.
We attended our newborn care class last night and it was very good. Colin now knows how to change the diaper of a plastic child. The other main point of the class was to show us newborn pictures and convince us that most look strange and we should not be concerned if the baby looks odd. Point of clarification- this was directed at the whole class not just us- ha ha.
Our best to you and your family this holiday season.
