Thanksgiving means 6 weeks left

We hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are at T-minus 6 weeks and counting and things are starting to get exciting. Our childbirth classes end tonight thankfully, and we are looking forward to our December class on newborn care. The best part of the childbirth class was taking the tour. It was good to have an idea of where to go and what the rooms looked like. Colin knows where to park the car. We also know that we won't be staying longer than the required time since the mother/baby rooms are shared.

One downer this week was that our Doctor will be leaving for a medical trip to Africa in 3 weeks. Of course, we knew he would probably not be attending the birth, but we really like him and will miss him at our appointments. Speaking of appointments, we are now on the 2 week regime and in mid-December will start going weekly. The baby is measuring at exactly the correct size, not too big or too small, which means there is no way the kid is coming early. The baby has been breech for about a month now, but that does not seem to matter as there is plenty of time to turn upside down.

We are looking forward to resting over the holidays and school ending!

Oh - you guys are getting SO close now, I can't believe you have just over a month!! I'm glad you will be getting a break over the holidays; I'm sure need one. Congrats on finishing your classes - you should be experts now and can coast until it's time, right! :)
