South Africa
View of the harbor in Cape Town. Photo from the back of our hotel. Two photos of the townships in Cape Town. The first would be considered a very nice township where each house has pre-paid electricity and access to an outside sink and toilet. The second is the poorest township in the area, there would be 1 toilet for 100 people and a commnuity water source. No elecriticy, but parrafin stoves and heaters are used in this township. Most of the people who live there are farmers. Hard to see in the last picture, but I am in a medicine man shop. This shop was very dark and lots of animal parts hanging down from the ceiling (I am standing next to a horn).
